Evaluation of NPA’s conflict preparedness and protection programme

To provide an overview of the context in the relevant conflict environments where NPA is present and identify needs related to civilian protection from explosive weapons.

To review the activities, methodologies, approaches, messages, materials, and media that NPA Department for Mine Action and Disarmament has developed and deployed as part of its core CPP programming in Palestine and Syria.

To assess and evaluate the impact of NPA’s CPP activities and qualify to what extent they meet the identified protection needs of target beneficiaries.

To provide feedback and recommendations on how NPA might further develop and improve its existing CPP programming concerning project/activity design, quality management, information management, monitoring and evaluation, and measuring impact and results over time.

Conflict-sensitive evaluation using mixed methods, in-depth interviews, and a perceptions survey to assess relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability. Analysis of conflict environments and the impact of these activities on the target beneficiaries.

Final Report

A comprehensive report providing key insights and recommendations based on the review of NPA's Conflict Preparedness and Protection programming. The report covers an overview of the conflict environments, an assessment of activities, an evaluation of impact on beneficiaries, and recommendations for future development and improvement of the programme.
