Impact on Urban Health and NHS South East London are launching a £1.5 million funding call to improve experiences and outcomes for Black mothers, birthing people, and their babies.

This opportunity will offer multi-year grants (up to 3 years) across 11 solution areas that were co-designed with community members and healthcare partners. The goal: to rebuild trust and create maternity and neonatal services that truly work for Black communities.

Together, we can save lives, strengthen families, and build a health system that every mum and baby can trust — because every birth should be safe, respectful, and full of care.

Applications open: 17 November 2025
Total funding available: £1,500,000
Who can apply: Community organisations, health partners, and collaborations working to reduce racial inequalities in maternal care.

Full call for proposals and application details coming soon.
